What's the difference between Floyd and CB2

Floyd, founded in 2013, has a practical design philosophy that focuses on creating thoughtfully different products. Their first product, The Floyd Leg, was developed as a reaction to disposable furniture and serves a clear function. They believe in designing for adaptability and challenge traditional norms, as seen in their bed frame that allows for individual customization over time. Floyd also emphasizes accessibility through good design and processes without compromising on quality. On the other hand, CB2 is known for its cool and edgy modern furniture with an urban twist. They offer a wide selection of fresh and fun furniture designed with city-living in mind. CB2's pieces are often small in scale and multifunctional, catering to lofts, apartments, and houses of all sizes. They provide affordable options for decorating first apartments stylishly. In terms of certifications, both Floyd and CB2 have the FSC certification ensuring responsible sourcing of wood materials. However, only Floyd is Goodweave Certified while CB2 participates in the Fifteen Percent Pledge initiative. Additionally, Floyd claims to use organic cotton in their products while CB2 does not make any claims regarding unverified benefits. Overall, Floyd focuses on practicality and adaptability while CB2 offers modern furniture with an urban twist at an affordable price point.
