Park Slope Residence

Studio Marlowe designed a series of custom casework for a family with 2 kids in Park Slope. Using simple geometry and a subtle reveal, a series of integrated cabinetry gently step out from the ceiling and walls. White-washed Ash frames, desks and custom routed solid wood handles bring warmth to the minimal white exterior, which floats within a continuous volume that steps out to become a desk, a bed, or a bench. Felt, textured carpets and linens add a sense of tactility, and a hidden linear LED task light and concealed grommets provide power.
